camping gear, camping outdoors
Have you ever loaded up all the camping gear you are certain you will need for a weekend of camping outdoors only to find when you arrive at the camp grounds and are setting up your camping gear you left something behind at home? We all have done this and this is why I made up a master list of camping gear and as I load each item into my vehicle I check it off the list. I decided to do this after leaving behind a small ax on one of my camping outdoors trip's to a primitive camping site. In these primitive camping sites the campers are forced to get by with what they brought as there are no extra amenities and a good camp ax or hatchet is worth its weight in gold. Pounding in the tent stakes, chopping up firewood and then splitting it, cutting the poles and cross pieces for the campfire rotisserie, and so many more tasks can be accomplished with the handy camping gear ax. Now when I begin loading my camping gear I always sharpen the camp ax and load it first.
