hiking gear, camping hiking gear

When we go camping, we always go hiking as well.  The grandchildren like to go with us, and we decided to get them some hiking gear.  They have good shoes; but, there are more camping hiking gear accessories we feel they need.  Sometimes, their parents have just forgotten the types of gear they utilized when we all went hiking.  So, my husband and I decided to go online to a discount company store and purchase the hiking gear they not only need; but they they can use in case of emergency.

First, we ordered a good canteen, then we ordered a light backpack where we could place some of the goodies they need.  The flash light we ordered was small but had a long life guaranteed.  The small knife, the emergency kit, and the wet wipes completed our list.  The grandkids will be so excited when we hand them their children's backpack, and we will have the pleasure of knowing they have all they need for a good outdoor sport.  We even added a small, throw-away camera so they could record their findings along the trail.  Camping outdoors has been so much fun for all of us, and it has been a great learning experience for the kids.
