Hiking Gear Shopping After Golf Experience |

Over the weekend, I had a chance to go golfing in the Pacific Northwest in what turned out to be a clear, crisp spring afternoon. The course was nothing special but very nice for a municipal. What astounded me was the scenery. Located next to a high mountain feed river, lush green pines and bushes surrounded each fairway. Off in the distance were a set of mountain ridges some capped with snow that looked almost close enough to drive to in 20 minutes. In reality, it would be at least a 45-minute drive up through their pass. Where beauty lacked in my golf game it was made up ten-fold by this lush, green environment. It really made me appreciate this part of the country.
Some people love the desert, other’s love the urban jungle and I love the forest. The many crystal lakes, snow covered mountains, endless plots of tree and backwoods feel is something I will never shake. It all made me excited to hunt for hiking gear and outdoor sport supplies online. This is the time of the year I check my camping gear to find what needs to be replaced.
