As I was rummaging through some of our closets the other day, I came upon several camping gear items that were stowed away last summer. Since I was knee deep in disorganization, I decided to clean out the closets, while getting all our camping gear stowed in one place and not here and there. While moving the sleeping bags and tents to our one big closet, it made me think of camping outdoors and woods. I could almost smell the pines and outdoor cooking smells as I was putting our gear away. Our family takes out the camping gear in late spring and summer and starts planning on where we will go. We try to camp at different locals every year, but this year with everyone’s different schedules, we may just camp closer to home. Camping outdoors is such a relaxing and good time even if it is just for a couple of days. With the gas prices inching toward $3.00 a gallon again, camping outdoors is a must for a fun and economical family vacation.
