outdoor sport


The winter season of many an outdoor sport is coming to an end. My sister in law was looking forward to taking her family up north for a final outdoor sport romp at the ski resort over the Easter Holiday. When she called to make reservations she learned the ski resort had closed it's doors for the season the week prior. It seemed a little premature to her as it was still snowing up north and the hills were packed with the stuff. Anyhow, it put a damper on her idea to enjoy that winter sport one last time. So she quickly began to contemplate an alternative game plan.

My family likes to visit the Imperial Sand Dunes during the cool winter months. We indulge in the winter sport of riding quads and the sand rail in the dunes of southern California. But as the weather warms up the season winds down. We are hoping to get in one last trip before the end of April. We have only one possible weekend available but have made no definite plans yet. Hopefully, if all goes well, we will end the winter outdoor sport season with one more run to the Dunes!
