Boots are vital hiking gear. |

Have you ever gone camping outdoors while wearing a new pair of hiking boots? Even worse is buying a new pair of hiking gear boots and then going for a day long hike. Sore and blistered feet is the usual result. This is why I go online this time of year and look for the hiking gear I am going to need for this spring and summer. And I need a new pair of hiking boots. If I buy the boots now I will have plenty of time to wear them around the house and for short walks so I can break them in. This is the secret to a comfortable pair of walking shoes or hiking boots--taking the time to slowly break them in so when I do go on a long walk the boots are already supple, and have taken on the form of my feet. I always add extra inserts for additional comfort, and I do this before the first walk so the hiking boots break in with these extra foot cushions. With the spring trout fishing season rapidly approaching I need to get my new hiking gear boots, break them in, and be ready for those longer walks to the best fishing spots. Then I change into waders for the actual fishing.
