camping outdoors I have always loved camping outdoors but getting deep into Mother Nature now means even more because the past five years I’ve lived in big cities. Growing up in the forest, camping outdoors was never more then a couple hundred feet away. It was how we spent summers, had bonfires and spent long days on dirt bikes. All those fun outdoor activities are hard to come by when miles of concrete slabs are as far as the eye can see.

Getting into nature, smelling fresh air and remembering what the wild sounds like is a quick way back to reality. Sirens, traffic, hustle and bustle, it all doesn’t mean quiet as much after rediscovering the peacefulness when camping outdoors. I feel like a different person around a campfire. I think everyone acts a little different when miles away from the modern conveniences of an urban jungle. I like how camping levels the playing field. No one has a chip on their shoulder and those that do show their true colors. Nature has a funny way of showing what a person is really about. I can’t get enough of sleeping under the stars.
