hiking gear


Let's gather up the hiking gear and hit the trails! Hiking is a passion of mine. I jump on every opportunity I can get to head out of town. This time of year the temperature starts out crisp and warms up during the day. I always dress in layers with extra clothes in my hiking gear just in case I get wet or the weather suddenly turns nasty. I have been caught off guard with a rain storm a time or two when hiking in the mountains.

My hiking gear is ever ready for the chance to hit the trails. I never stash it too far away. I do clean my hiking gear out after a hike because it generally ends up full of empty wrappers and snack containers plus some soiled clothing. My friends are the same way and are ready at the drop of a pin to gather up their hiking gear and hit the road for another hiking adventure. We like to hike trails that offer running creeks, high and low elevations and some rock climbing. Just say the word and we are off!
