Well another winter season is about to come to an end soon and it is going to be time for us to get our hiking gear booties in order. This is about the time of the year where everyone in the family gets all hiking gear slap happy with the exciting expectation of another camping family reunion. Every couple of years the family loves to change the family reunion venue to an outdoors camping reunion and this is one of those years. Every time we do this, getting our hiking gear together has much more meaning. I mean, it’s one thing when we get our hiking gear ready in order to spend some time and ingest all the wonders that nature has to offer, but when you get to do it with the whole family—literally—then you are feeding your soul in ways that one can only dream of. There is something about being able to connect with every person in the family that cannot be explained, just felt and just seeing my hiking gear in front of my eyes reminds me of the magical experience we are all soon going to be blessed with—this is when hiking gear turns into something magical.
