With our weekend hiking trip with friends less than a month away, I decided that it was time to pull out the hiking gear and start taking inventory of what we’ll need for the trip. My husband is one of those who like to wait until the last minute to pull everything out, but I know if we do that and need to replace a few things, then we’ll be rushing around at the last minute trying to do that. When I pulled everything out in the back yard on a blanket, I noticed that several pieces of our hiking gear had seen better days. I knew then that I was going to have to spend some time online ordering several items, so I ran inside and grabbed a pen and a piece of paper. I started taking notes of the hiking gear that we needed, and from the looks of things, it appeared that both me and my husband would need new shoes. In addition to needing several new pieces of hiking gear, I also found that we needed new tents. We’ll only camp out one night, but we do need tents for that first night. I’m glad at least one of us likes to get things done early.
