We decided that this year for our summer vacation that we’re going to do some hiking into the mountains in the state next to ours so it’s time that I start pulling out the hiking gear and deciding what we need and don’t need for the trip. My husband’s original idea was to spend the entire two weeks hiking through the mountains and actually sleeping in tents, but I decided that wasn’t the way I wanted to spend all two weeks, so we agreed that we would take along our hiking gear and go hiking three or four times during the course of the two weeks. I rented a cabin that I found online for a really good price and after I go through all the hiking gear, I have a feeling that I’m going to need to spend some time ordering a few new items. We haven’t replaced or added any hiking gear in several years so it doesn’t surprise me that the time has come to make some replacements. The cabin has a Jacuzzi overlooking the valley and I can’t wait to spend evenings relaxing in the wilderness. It’s going to be a great vacation.
