Perfect Hiking Gear For Those Long Walks Up Big Mountains! |

I can't believe that my husband talked me into hiking up the side of the mountain with him. I had never done anything like this before and I really felt it! But, it was a lot of fun anyway. Growing up as a child in the city never really gave me the opportunity to go hiking a lot. However, when I got married that all changed. Hiking gear became a regular household item.
My husband is from northern California. He grew up basically outdoors and has done a lot of hiking and camping. We met while he was visiting his cousin who lived just two houses down from me. It was love at first sight. Anyway, after we got married he started to take me along on his hiking trips. The first was going up the side of a mountain. He called it a foothill. I called it a mountain!
I wanted to take all the hiking gear I could get my hands on. You never know when you will need something and it is better to be safe and sorry, right? Well, my husband went through my backpack that first day and took out three fourths of it. Then he handed me a smaller pack.
After about the first hour of walking up hill I was sure glad that my hiking gear was much lighter. In fact, it was too light. I had forgotten to bring enough water! That was a mistake that I told myself I wouldn't do again. My husband then suggested I get some hiking gear called a hydration pack.
I did buy one, but it didn't last long. In fact, it only lasted one trip! After that trip I went online to find some new hiking gear - mostly boots and a new hydration pack. After thirty minutes of searching online I found a website called KE Active Lifestyle whose online store can be visited at www.kayserenterprises.ispeedway.com. This site had a lot of different types of hiking gear so it didn't take long to find what I needed.
I ordered a Gerber Reserve FTR Hydration Pack, High Vis Lime - Hang Tag mostly because of its color. But, the price was pretty good too. This hiking gear from KE Active Lifestyle made all the difference in my next hiking trip. It was a little longer than usual, so the extra size of the pack allowed me to carry even more water. This made my husband much happier. I didn't have to drink all his too! |
