I have to admit that I’ve never been a fan of camping outdoors, but when a group of my best friends decided that they wanted to get together for the long weekend and go camping outdoors, I couldn’t resist saying that I’d go with them. Luckily, they asked me several weeks ago and I was able to go online and find some great camping gear that I hope will get me through the weekend regardless of what weather we end up with. The sun is supposed to be shining, but since Mother Nature sometimes has a mind of her own, I wanted to make sure that my first outdoor camping experience in ten years is a good one. My supplies arrived last week and I have pretty much got everything packed for our afternoon departure. I drove up to the spot a few days ago with my best friend in order to stake out the spot where we are planning to pitch our tents and I have to say it’s breathtaking. I brought everything to make fire, plus food just in case the guys don’t catch as many fish as they think.
